HyperBar is a macOS menu bar application that displays Hyperliquid perpetual futures portfolio data. This privacy policy describes how the application handles user data.
HyperBar does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. No analytics, tracking, telemetry, or crash reporting services are used.
The only information you provide is a public Ethereum-compatible wallet address (0x...). This address is publicly visible on the blockchain and is not considered private or sensitive data. It is stored locally on your device and is never sent to any server operated by us.
The app connects exclusively to the Hyperliquid public API (api.hyperliquid.xyz) to retrieve publicly available position and trading data. This includes:
No data is sent to any other server. The app does not communicate with any first-party or third-party backend.
Your wallet address and application preferences are stored locally on your device using standard macOS storage mechanisms. This data never leaves your device except as part of the public API query to Hyperliquid described above.
The app monitors for active screen-sharing or recording sessions (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Discord) and can automatically hide sensitive financial information when such activity is detected. This check is performed entirely on-device and no information about your screen or applications is transmitted anywhere.
No account creation, registration, or sign-in is required to use HyperBar.
HyperBar does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.
HyperBar does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
Any updates to this privacy policy will be reflected here and distributed with application updates. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this document will be revised accordingly.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, please open an issue in the project's GitHub repository.
